The physical installations of La Rivera Ecological Center are located on the borders of the only existing stream, which is still conserved free of contamination and which serves as a source of support to 300 families since 30 years ago.

Nowadays, La Ribera is a source of incomes for many country families. It counts on small areas that are cultivated with organic coffee as well as areas where it is shown that it is not necessary to destroy the nature to obtain productions.

We count on a restaurant which serves regional and national meals, tables on open spaces to enjoy your lunch or to observe the nature, an area of swimming pools appropriate for relaxation and meditation, in addition to its private parking lots which provide you with more security; but the best is the fine familiar attention that the visitors receive in a comfortable place where others are concerned about their quality of life. Everything is constructed without cutting the vegetation; there are beautiful paths visited by hundreds of tourists, among them important groups of students, teachers, environmentalists, and expert people in the field of the environmental problems.
