A spectacular cavalcade of 9 hours crossing Osa.

A tour from Uvita through mountains to an elevation of 1000 meters above the sea level, then descending even 800 meters to enjoy a dinner by the light of the moon in La Rivera Ecological Center; and then, going back to the hotel.

1st day

La Rivera, enjoy watching butterflies flying freely in a protected zone of about 5.5 hectares, as well as other beauties that the secondary forest has: biodiversity, trails, 2 six-meter high waterfalls, mini soccer field, typical food restaurant, swimming pools, during the tour you could also observe turkeys, toucans, “cusingas,” hummingbirds, “pajuilas,” “yerris,” “cocalecas,” armadillos, and many more animal species, besides, there are 125 species of plants, some endemic from Costa Rica, some medicinal and some from prehistorical varieties. The kind of land is a little broken, that’s why it is recommended to wear appropriate shoes. We suggest bringing a photographic or video camera, clothing with non-attractive colors for the birds.

A beautiful biological paradise at the bottom of Chirripó peak where the waters that flow through almost all De El General valley emerge, where thousands of animal and plants species live, hundreds of protected hectares by a group of people in close contact with nature, where day by day they struggle to preserve what is left from this beautiful valley. A great tour through a coffee land where you can enjoy the experience of picking coffee and observe the coffee elaboration process in the most ecological way, obtaining the best use from the wastes, which at the end return to the ground.
