Areas for Nature Studies
This area has been conserved for 30 years for the purpose of preserving many of the species that are endangered, among them the “pavón” “pava granadera,” “pajuilas,” toucans, “guacos” and many others.
Besides, many other species of insects have also been protected such as butterflies, among them “morfus,” “buo de oro,” “Cáligo,” and hundreds of varieties more, as well as species of plants that have served as source of food and reproduction for the animals.
We count on medicinal endemic plants and some not identified yet, which have been of great interest for students of biology, and nature observers.
