La Rivera Ecological Center is located 22 kilometers southeast from San Isidro De El General, on the road to Pejibaye, 800 meters above the sea level. The temperature oscillates between 23 and 27 degrees centigrades. The closest beaches are 59 kilometers far.
We count on a summer season from November to May. The swimming pools and restaurants areas are surrounded by protected forests on the banks of a small river with two waterfalls of 6 meters high. All of its physical installations are located under the trees of a five-and-a-half hectare property where we have learned to live in harmony with the more than 125 species of plants properly identified, and more than 50 species of animals and a great hidden biodiversity.
From this place, it is very easy to move, through good roads, to many spots of touristic interest as the beaches from the pacific, Chirripo National Park, thermal waters, Nauyaca Waterfalls, Rancho The Stone Spheres Park, Fudebiol, San Vito Botanical Garden, and other places where you will find sport fishing activities and adventure tours.
